Read Alouds

Take time to read to your child everyday. Choose from the books below, books that are easy for your K2 child to “read.”

Reading to your child means that they will take time to read. Kindergarteners reading success can be:
Reading pictures
Memorized reading
Reading sounds
Reading pictures that they drew, and
Reading lines, letters, sounds that they wrote.

Send a book, picture, or something they wrote to school. I would love to hear what they can read. We can even have the class listen to them. Reading is contagious. Once someone reads a great story, others want to do that too.
